The selection seems to have been done on the back of a postage stamp. It all seems very lazy. They have basically gone with the players who have been touring this winter, regardless of form or suitability for conditions and ODI format. Rehan Ahmed was called up despite not playing in India at all. In form players playing around the globe are overlooked. The template for seam bowlers seems to be over 6 foot and capable of bowling 90mph - nobody else is selected even though they might be able to bowl 10 economical overs.

I hope I am wrong (I frequently am) but I can't see the current regime turning things round in any format so it could be a very long year.
