Lauren Winfield-Hill has been rewarded for a superb English summer with a place in the WBBL.
Melbourne Stars have recruited the England international opener for the upcoming campaign.
Winfield-Hill has racked up the runs across the formats in 2022. She made 219 at an average of 54 for Oval Invincibles in The Hundred, 96 in two Charlotte Edwards Cup knocks for Northern Diamonds, and has 405 in eight innings in the Rachael Heyhoe Flint Trophy.

"I feel like I'm in a good space with my game at the moment and in some decent form so let's hope that continues with the Stars," she said.

"The group is a lovely blend of familiar faces for me with Jemi (Rodrigues), Caps (Capsey) and JB (Batty) but also some exciting youngsters who I'm looking forward to getting around.
"The WBBL is a great competition and I’m chuffed to be a part of it again."
Winfield-Hill has made 41 WBBL appearances down the years, having previously been on the books of Brisbane Heat.
"She has been in red hot form in the Hundred and we hope she can continue that run of form when she arrives in Australia," Stars general manager Blair Crouch said.
