What's the match?

London Spirit take on Birmingham Phoenix in the latest game of the 2022 women's Hundred competition.

When is it taking place?

The match is scheduled to start at 3pm BST on Tuesday, August 30.

Where is the match being played?

This match will take place at Lord's.

Who's got the form?

Birmingham Phoenix made a lightning start to The Hundred, winning three matches in a row, but are now in danger of throwing away their spot in the top three - they're only two points clear of Trent Rockets, Manchester Originals and Northern Superchargers, making this a must-win game for Sophie Devine's side.

In their past two outings, Phoenix have lost to Oval Invincibles by eight wickets and Manchester Originals by 18 runs.

London Spirit are languishing at the bottom of the table with just one win from their five matches - an eight-wicket win over Welsh Fire on August 24. Last time out, however, they suffered a nine-wicket mauling at the hands of Oval Invincibles, who completed their chase with 42 balls remaining.

Runs have been a real problem for Spirit - they were skittled for just 80 against Oval Invincibles and haven't passed 125 with the bat since their tournament opener against Southern Brave (155 for 4 in a losing cause).

What's the team news?

Neither side has any fresh injury or availability concerns heading into this match.

10 of Birmingham Phoenix's players have been ever-present this season, but Phoebe Franklin may miss out after proving expensive with the ball.

London Spirit have also been consistent in their selections, with a 10-player core featuring in all five matches.

What's the key match-up?

Keeping Beth Mooney quiet will go along way to preventing London Spirit from picking up a surprise win. The Australian wicketkeeper-batter has scored 204 runs at a strike rate of 158.13.

If Birmingham Phoenix - perhaps through Issy Wong or Em Arlott - can remove her inside the powerplay, it will certainly relieve a lot of pressure on their side's inconsistent batting unit. Though stacked with talent, including Sophie Devine, Ellyse Perry, Eve Jones and Amy Jones, Phoenix have posted totals of 106 and 104 in their past two matches.

Can I get tickets?

There are limited tickets available for this fixture.

What's the weather forecast?

Cloudy skies and temperatures hovering around the low-20s are expected in St John's Wood - one of those days where you need suncream and a light jacket, just in case.

What are the squads?

London Spirit: Beth Mooney, Amelia Kerr, Megan Schutt, Sophie Luff, Amara Carr, Freya Davies, Naomi Dattani, Charlie Dean, Danielle Gibson, Chloe Brewer (replaces Heather Knight - injured), Alice Monaghan, Grace Scrivens, Jess Kerr, Natasha Wraith, Nancy Harman, Grace Ballinger
