Neil Dexter has signed a one-year contract extension with Leicestershire.
The allrounder, who moved to the county from Middlesex in 2015, has scored 2,349 runs and taken 79 wickets across cricket's three formats during his time at Grace Road.
And he has now committed himself to another 12 months with the Foxes.
“I’ve had three really enjoyable seasons with Leicestershire and I’m pleased to extend my stay here,” said Dexter.

“We’ve made great strides forward under Nico (head coach Paul Nixon) and the coaches and it’s exciting to be a part of the future here. We want to continue the progress made in red ball cricket and also have success in the white-ball competitions.”
Nixon said: “Dex has shown his quality in all formats of the game. He played nicely in the middle order in first-class cricket and took on a new role at the top of the order of Vitality Blast.
“He is a calming influence at the crease, a good bowler who has shown that he can adapt to different roles, and a fine fielder. It’s great that Neil has signed an extension to his contract and will be with us next season.”
