Mohammad Abbas will play for Leicestershire again next year
Mohammad Abbas has agreed a deal to rejoin Leicestershire for the 2019 county summer.
The Pakistan seamer made a major impression during his time at Grace Road this year, claiming 50 wickets at an impressive average of 17.72.
His performances accelerated Leicestershire's efforts to tie the bowler to the club next season and Abbas has now signed up to play in both the County Championship and Royal London One-Day Cup in 2019.
"I have really enjoyed my time at Leicestershire. Everybody has made me and my family feel very welcome," he said.

"I have relished the chance to be a senior bowler, and I am looking forward to coming back next year."
Leicestershire head coach Paul Nixon said: "Mo has been an absolute class act this year. His bowling has been outstanding, constantly asking the batsmen questions by beating the edge on both sides. He is world-class; a humble man who is a brilliant role model.
"Even when Mo was away taking wickets for Pakistan earlier this year, he kept in touch and wished us well before matches. He has played a huge role in our success this season. We’re absolutely delighted that Mo will be returning next season."
