Injury has forced the Australia spinner out of the competition which begins on August 1 against Lancashire Thunder
Southern Vipers have been forced to draft in Amanda-Jade Wellington for the Kia Super League after losing the services of Australia spinner Sophie Molineux due to injury.
The 21-year-old made three appearances during the recently-concluded Women's Ashes, including her Test debut in the draw at Taunton.
But an undisclosed injury has forced her out of the competition, which kicks off on August 6 when the Vipers face Lancashire Thunder.

Wellington, who represents the Adelaide Strikes in the Women's Big Bash League, did not feature during the Ashes yet joins Stafanie Taylor and Suzie Bates as the three overseas players at The Ageas Bowl this summer.
Charlotte Edwards, the director of women’s cricket, said: "We’re all disappointed that Sophie has had to withdraw from the KSL but we’re very lucky to get a replacement of Amanda’s quality.
"She’s a hugely talented leg-spinner and will offer something different to our squad this summer."
