The Cricketer has teamed up with Kia to present an opportunity to young journalist to interview Kumar Sangakkara

Kia is offering young journalists aged 18-25 the dream opportunity to interview Kumar Sangakkara. 

To enter, participants should submit an article of up to 250 words on their favourite cricketing moment at the Kia Oval. 

The articles of the top five short-listed participants will be published on thecricketer.com and will be put to a public vote. 

The winner of the public vote will get to interview Kumar Sangakkara ahead of the England v Sri Lanka 3rd Test match at the Kia Oval and this article will then be published on thecricketer.com on Thursday 5th September and feature in The Cricketer magazine.

How the prize works:

• The entries will close on Friday, July 5. Top 5 stories will then be shortlisted and authors of these stories will then be notified
• Top five entries will be published on thecricketer.com on Monday, July 15 and will be put to a public vote, the voting closes on Friday, August 16
