"Since joining Middlesex in 2015 Fran has been a fantastic player, teammate and leader.
"On and off the field she has always led by example and her contribution to the development of Middlesex Women’s cricket, and the young players coming through, has been huge.
"Everyone at the club hopes to see her in an England shirt again soon, and understand her desire to be playing her 50 over cricket in Division One in order to achieve this.
"We wish her well in her future career".
