Josh Stacey: The Essex pace bowler has been on loan with Kent during the 2021 season, taking 12 wickets in four County Championship matches
Matt Quinn has re-joined Kent, initially on a loan until the end of the season, before making the move permanent on a three-year deal, starting from the beginning of the 2022 season.
Quinn has been on loan from Essex and has made a number of appearances for Kent in 2021, taking 12 wickets at an an average of 19.33 for the club in four LV= Insurance County Championship matches.
He will feature at Kent across all three formats for the remainder of the year.
Originally from New Zealand, Quinn holds a British passport and therefore is registered as a domestic player for his current county, Essex.
On joining Kent, Quinn said: "I’m excited to join Kent permanently after a really enjoyable loan spell for me over the past couple of months.
"Everyone at the club, including the players, staff and members, made me feel so welcome. I can’t wait to be a Kent player once more, and to contribute towards future success for this county."
