The Cricketer runs the rule over the individual performances of both sets of players during England's ODI victory over Ireland at the Ageas Bowl
Jason Roy (0): Slapped a wide half-volley to cover and looked suitably furious. 3
Jonny Bairstow (82): A remarkable, brutal knock: at one stage, he seemed primed for England's ODI ton - his wicket, complete with a send-off, precipitated a collapse. 8
James Vince (16 & 1-18): A surprise choice as England's second change bowler, but bowled tidily enough and took a maiden international wicket. Cleaned up by a good delivery from Curtis Campher. 5
Eoin Morgan (0): Sprung a surprise by bringing Vince into the attack, but cut to point without scoring. 3
Tom Banton (15): Looked terrific for 15, before being trapped in front by Campher. 4
Sam Billings (46*): Twice in two games, the Kent batsman has led England to victory with a composed, sensible head. 8
Moeen Ali (0 & 0-27): Economical, if not threatening, with the ball. Bounced out by Josh Little for nought. 4
David Willey (47* & 2-48): With the ball, nothing we haven’t seen before – exceptional with the new ball, hittable later on. In partnership with Billings, helped England to victory with a terrific knock. 8
Adil Rashid (3-34): Mesmerising with the ball, bamboozling Kevin O’Brien, before adding Harry Tector and Lorcan Tucker. What a brilliant leg-spinner he has become. 8
Saqib Mahmood (2-45): Bowled sharply and was rewarded with the wickets of Curtis Campher and Simi Singh. A middle-over option as England look to life after Liam Plunkett. 6
Reece Topley (1-31): Thoroughly deserved his wicket when it finally came – not only for how he bowled today, but on the back of years of misfortune. 7
Curtis Campher has enjoyed a terrific start to his international career
Paul Stirling (12): Copied Gareth Delany’s dismissal from the first ODI, slicing David Willey straight to backward point. 3
Gareth Delany (0): Worked over by England, who sense a vulnerability in his high back-lift. Trapped plumb in front by Willey. 3
Andrew Balbirnie (15): Suffered the indignation of becoming James Vince’s first international wicket, bounced out by the Hampshire batsman’s medium-pace. 3
Harry Tector (28): For a time, he was the sensible of a recovery from 44 for 4. That ended when he looked to hit Adil Rashid over the top and only found mid-on on the edge of the ring. 4
Kevin O’Brien (3): Hook, line and sinker to Rashid’s googly. 3
Lorcan Tucker (21): Like Tector, got in and got out as he attempted to up the ante. Instead, a premediated sweep backfired, looping to short fine leg. 4
Curtis Campher (68 & 2-50): Superb knock when all around him was chaotic and lacking in cohesion. In both games, he has looked Ireland’s best batsman. All-action in the field, catching Morgan while bowling with good pace to dismiss Banton and Vince. 8
Simi Singh (25 & 0-3): Played his part in a crucial partnership with Campher. Undone looking to guide one to third man. 6
Andy McBrine (24 & 0-33): Useful runs down the order but wicketless with the ball as England attacked him early on, before milking him in his second spell. 5
Craig Young (2* & 1-68): Bowled sharply but unable to stem the flow of runs. 4
Josh Little (3-60): As per his ODI debut against England last year, Little was effective and bowled with aggression, taking the key wickets of Bairstow, Morgan and Moeen. 7
