Find out who is staying and going from the franchise ahead of the 2021 Indian Premier League
Glenn Maxwell has been released by Kings XI Punjab ahead of the 2021 Indian Premier League mini auction.
Maxwell's modest 2020 IPL season has resulted in him being left out of the franchise's retained player list.
West Indies bowler Sheldon Cottrell is also released by Kings XI.
The team will have a maximum of nine slots to fill, including five overseas, with Jimmy Neesham and Mujeeb ur Rahman also failing to earn a retention.

Only three imports - Chris Jordan, Chris Gayle and Nicholas Pooran - have been retained.
Others to be released include Karun Nair, Hardus Viljoen, Jagadeesha Suchith, Krishnappa Gowtham and Tajinder Singh.
“The plan was to keep the core of the team, and make sure the players who were part of the team last season will continue this year as well. We believe that this group along with whoever we pick at the auctions to fill those gaps will be able to turn things around for Kings XI Punjab,” head coach Anil Kumble said.
The 2021 IPL is expected to take place in April and May.
