Royal Challengers Bangalore seamer Harshal Patel took career-best figures in the opening match of the Indian Premier League season, including three in a remarkable final over.
He had Krunal Pandya and Kieron Pollard caught off the opening two deliveries, before clean-bowling South African IPL debutant Marco Jansen with the fourth ball.
After another dot-ball, Jasprit Bumrah was run out off the final delivery as he attempted a second run.

Earlier, he had trapped Kieron Pollard and Hardik Pandya in front, in the process becoming the first bowler in IPL history to take a five-wicket haul against Mumbai Indians. He had never taken more than three wickets in a T20 match until today.
His final over, which cost just a single run in the process, helped to restrict the reigning champions to a score of 159 for 9.
