The Cricketer takes a look at the next fixture in the 2022 Indian Premier League season
Gujarat Titans face Chennai Super Kings in the Indian Premier League.
The game will be played on Sunday, April 17. The first ball will be bowled at 7:30pm local time (3pm GMT).
The match will be held at the Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium in Pune.
Gujarat Titans are the team to beat on their IPL debut, with four wins from five leaving them top of the table.
After a brief wobble against Sunrisers Hyderabad, whom they lost to by eight wickets, they bounced back with victory over Rajasthan Royals.
They put on 192 for 4, an innings punctuated by a vintage display of middle-order pinch-hitting from Hardik Pandya.
The India allrounder hammered 87 from 52 balls to record his second half-century and fifth score of 27 or more in as many games.
The victory was secured by Yash Dayal on his IPL debut, taking 3 for 40 via his left-arm seam.
Chennai Super Kings opened up their title defence with four consecutive defeats - the second time in IPL history they'd been on such a dismal run.
They opened their account for the new season at the fifth time of asking, beating Royal Challengers Bangalore by 23 runs in Mumbai.
CSK hit their straps with the bat, amassing 216 for 4 from their 20 overs. Shivam Dube and Robin Uthappa were the stars of the show with 95* and 88 respectively.
RCB were never really in the contest and fell short with a total of 193 for 9, as Maheesh Theekshana claimed 4 for 33.

Matthew Wade has yet to hit his straps at the top of the Titans' order, having recorded just 68 runs in five innings, at a modest strike rate of 107.93.
The Australia T20 World Cup winner made his third double-figure score of the tournament so far, with a dozen against Rajasthan Royals, but the likes of Hardik Pandya and Shubman Gill need a bit more support.
CSK have let themselves down in the bowling department. Dwaine Pretorius has been the pick of the attack, with four wickets and an economy rate of 7.62.
Experienced pair Chris Jordan and Dwayne Bravo have struggled, for the most part, proving expensive despite claiming nine wickets between them.
Bravo has gone at an economy rate close to nine runs an over, while Jordan has gone at 8.55.
