Meanwhile, Delhi have traded two players to Royal Challengers Bangalore.
Harsal Patel and Daniel Sams will no longer turn out in Capitals blue.
Delhi have eight slots to fill, including three overseas, when the IPL mini auction comes around.
The Indian Premier League season is due to be played in April and May.
