The New Zealand quick has been ruled out of the remainder of the tournament with a hamstring problem suffered during the opening game against Kolkata Knight Riders
Adam Milne has been ruled out of the remainder of the Indian Premier League with a hamstring injury.
The New Zealand seamer suffered the problem during the tournament's opening match against Kolkata Knight Riders at Wankhede Stadium on March 26.
Though the issue is not adjudged to be serious and Milne should be fit again in a number of weeks, the decision has been taken to enlist a stand-in with him having missed the last five games.
Nineteen-year-old pace-bowler Matheesha Pathirana has been approved as Milne's replacement.

A member of Sri Lanka's Under-19 World Cup squads in 2020 and 2022, Pathirana has played just two T20 matches during his short senior career.
He claimed seven wickets in four matches at the recent Under-19 World Cup as Sri Lanka reached the quarter-finals, eventually losing in a dramatic encounter to Afghanistan.
Pathirana joins fellow Sri Lankan Maheesh Theekshana, who was picked up during the mega auction.
CSK have endured a rocky start to their title defence, losing five of their opening six matches ahead of facing winless Mumbai Indians on Thursday (April 21).
