Nortje has been under assessment by the South Africa medical department after missing several months with a mysterious injury
South Africa have cleared Anrich Nortje of major injury, and the seamer will soon be available to his Indian Premier League franchise, Delhi Capitals.
Nortje has been under assessment by the Proteas medical department after missing several months with a mysterious injury.
However, he is soon set to make his return to competive cricket.
CSA chief medical officer Shuaib Manjra told ESPNcricinfo: "We did a range of Tests on Anrich and ruled out any serious injury.

"We felt safe enough to have Anrich do his rehab in India and his return to play in India. We have ruled out the stress fracture of the back."
Nortje is in India, and inside the Capitals' bubble, ahead of their opening game of the tournament, against Mumbai Indians on Sunday.
He is not set to feature in that match but may return sooner than expected.
Nortje has not played since the T20 World Cup in November, and South Africans will hope he does not break down during his IPL stint. CSA retain the right to recall him from the tournament.
