The seamer will be involved for the duration of MI Emirates' run in International League T20, the final of which is scheduled for February 12
New Zealand are expecting to be without Trent Boult for their Test series against England in February.
Boult turned down a central contract with New Zealand Cricket last year, instead opting to pursue more opportunities on the franchise T20 circuit, and his committments over the next two months look set to rule him out of the two-Test tour.
Boult has been in Australia, turning out for Melbourne Stars in the Big Bash, and will now relocate to the UAE for the upcoming International League T20.
The seamer will be involved for the duration of MI Emirates' run in the competition, the final of which is scheduled for February 12.

New Zealand's first Test against England is scheduled for February 16 in Mount Maunganui.
The Blackcaps' head coach, Gary Stead, was asked about Boult's availability on Saturday [January 7].
He said: "No, I wouldn't have thought so. I mean Trent and I have had discussions and I think his return from the UAE would only be a day or two immediately prior to that [start of England Tests].
"I think from a workload perspective that's out of the picture."

New Zealand's seam-bowling injury list looks worrying at present. Adam Milne has been ruled out of the limited-overs series against Pakistan and India with a side problem, while Matt Henry also sits the games out with an abdominal strain.
Kyle Jamieson is also sidelined at present, though he is expected to return to fill fitness in the ongoing Super Smash in New Zealand. Jamieson's back injury has kept him out of action since June.
