Sanjeewani has been fined 15 per cent of her match fee and handed one demerit point
Sri Lanka wicketkeeper Anushka Sanjeewani has been reprimanded after breaching the ICC's code of conduct against Bangladesh.
In the 10th over of Sunday's (February 12) clash, Sanjeewani ran "aggressively" towards Sobhana Mostary with "her fists clenched in celebration" after the opener was bowled by Chamari Athapththu for 29 (32).
Her actions breached article 2.5 of the code of conduct, which relates to "using any language, action or gesture towards a batter upon their dismissal which has the potential to provoke an aggressive reaction from the dismissed batter".

Sanjeewani was fined 15 per cent of her match fee and has also been handed one demerit point – her first in a 24-month period.
The charge was levelled by on-field umpires Anna Harris and Sue Redfern, third umpire Jacqueline Williams, and fourth umpire Kim Cotton, and accepted by Sanjeewani without the need for a formal hearing.
Level 1 breaches carry a minimum penalty of an official reprimand and a maximum penalty of 50 per cent of a player's match fee and one or two demerit points. When a player accumulates four or more demerit points in a 24-month period, they receive a suspension.
