Rohit Sharma has been ruled out of the first Test between India and Bangladesh, with KL Rahul to replace him as captain.
Sharma was ruled out after suffering an injury to his left thumb in the second ODI between the same countries last week, and the BBCI will make a call on his availability for the second and final Test at a later date.
Abhimanyu Easwaran had already been called up as cover following the injury.
This comes after Mohammed Shami and Ravindra Jadeja were also ruled out of the series and replaced by Navdeep Saini and left-arm spinner Saurabh Kumar.

There was also a call-up for Jaydev Unadkat, which could mean he plays his first Test match for 12 years.
Cheteshwar Pujara will be vice-captain for the first Test, starting on December 14.
