The Bangladesh right-arm seamer has been fined 15 per cent of his match fee and given one demerit point on his disciplinary record
Khaled Ahmed has been fined 15 per cent of his match fee for a level one breach of the ICC Code of Conduct during the second Test between Bangladesh and South Africa.
The bowler will also receive one demerit point on his disciplinary record as this is his first offence.
Ahmed breached Article 2.9 of the ICC Code of Conduct for Players and Player Support Personnel, which prohibits "throwing a ball at or near a player, player support personnel, umpire, match referee or any other third person in an inappropriate and/or dangerous manner during an international match."
An ICC statement on the matter read: "The incident occurred in the 95th over of South Africa's first innings on the second day when Kyle Verreynne hit the ball back towards Ahmed.

"The bowler then threw it towards Verreynne in an inappropriate and dangerous manner, hitting him on the right glove."
Ahmed admitted to the offence and accepted the fine, which was proposed by match referee Andy Pycroft.
The incident occurred on day two of the match at St George's Park when Ahmed struck Verreynne on the glove.
Bangladesh lost the Test by 332 runs, as South African spinners Keshav Maharaj and Simon Harmer combined to take all 10 fourth innings wickets for the second time in the series.
