Seventeen players including auction record-holder Pat Cummins will be involved in the 2020 edition of the competition
Australia head coach Justin Langer is buoyed by the prospect of several of his players participating in next year's Indian Premier League.
Seventeen Aussies have either been bought in the auction or retained for the 2020 edition.
That group includes seamer Pat Cummins, who joined Kolkata Knight Riders for a record-breaking £1.66 million, to become the most expensive overseas player in IPL history.
Glenn Maxwell, Nathan Coulter-Nile and Josh Hazlewood were also among Langer's senior players picked up during the buying process.
Bar the retired Shane Watson, the remaining 16 could all legitimately be under consideration to play in the next two T20 World Cups both on home soil next year and then in India in 2021.
Langer is thrilled that such a large contingent will be featuring in the premier T20 tournament and believes it will only benefit his hopes of ending Australia's World Cup duck.

"In this cycle, it's hopefully going to be really valuable to us with two T20 World Cups coming up, we've talked a lot about the emphasis we are putting on T20 cricket.
"Ultimately it's their decision as well, they play 12 months of the year now, you have to look at short term and long term, you certainly can't begrudge anyone being in the IPL.
"From a purely big-picture point of view from us, the fact they are going to play 10-14 T20 games, where we'll play in two years, and with the World Cup [next season] that can only help their skills. Hopefully, it's a win-win for everyone."
