The Irish have not played a Test match since July 2019, when they lost to England at Lord's. They are due a remath at the home of cricket in early June.

The rest of the tour features three one-day internationals and three T20Is.
Sylhet will host the ODI leg of the trip on March 18, 20 and 23, before the show moves on to Chattogram for T20s on March 27, 29 and 31.
A white-ball warmup fixture has also been slated for March 15, with Ireland due to fly from Dublin on March 11.
