Farhaan Behardien has announced his retirement from cricket at the age of 39.
The South African allrounder made 97 white-ball appearances for the Proteas but had not played an international match since 2018.
He had continued to be involved in the South African domestic system, however, representing Titans.
In a post on social media, Behardien thanked his former teammates, coaches and fans.

"To be honest, it wasn't easy. The good stuff rarely are. But as a result I haven't 'worked' a day in 18 years, because it was my passion and I loved the graft.
"Feet up for a bit and on to the next challenge."
Behardien made 557 professional appearances. In first-class cricket, he collected 7,315 runs and 34 wickets.
It was in white-ball cricket where he made his mark on the international stage, with 59 ODI caps and 38 runouts in T20Is.
He played in four World Cups for his country.
