Ukraine's application for membership has been deferred until "cricket activity is able to safely resume within the country"
Cricket Russia has had its ICC membership stripped after "failing to resolve the issues" that led to a 12-month suspension in 2021 for "non-compliance".
The same fate befell the Zambia Cricket Union in 2021, at which point Russia's federation was served a year's notice to "demonstrate compliance or risk having its membership of ICC terminated with immediate effect".
An ICC statement explained that Russia’s 2021 suspension was the result of a failure to comply with ICC membership criteria dating back to July 2019 and that membership had been "terminated" following a failure to overcome those issues.
Meanwhile, Ukraine's application for membership has been deferred until "cricket activity is able to safely resume within the country".
The statement added that the global governing body would continue "to support the Ukraine Cricket Federation through this process".

Cambodia, Cote D'Ivoire and Uzbekistan have all received associate status, with Cambodia's membership subject to the demonstration of a "satisfactory women's pathway in place" by the end of 2022.
"Women's cricket is the key priority for Cambodia after cricket activity was severely impacted by Covid-19," read an ICC statement.
"The CAC plan is set to include the re-establishment of indoor cricketing activities and regular coaching in eight schools, and the introduction of a T20 hard ball tournament with eight teams in November 2022."
