Cricket Australia have announced the full home international fixture list taking place between October 2023 and February 2024, including an inaugural Test match against South Africa Women.

Twenty-four matches have been announced with six Tests, nine ODIs and nine T20s to be played across 11 venues.

The women’s team are the focal point at the start of the summer while the men's team play at the ODI World Cup in India.

Meg Lanning's team play a three-match T20 series against West Indies starting on October 1 before a trio of ODIs against the same opponent.

South Africa will then travel down under to take on Australia for the first time since the T20 World Cup final for a 20-over and ODI series over three matches each, starting on January 27 and finishing on February 10.

A first-ever Test encounter between the two sides will then take place between February 15-18 at the WACA in Perth.

While the men still have the World Test Championship (WTC) final and the Ashes to look forward to in June and July, their next home campaign is approaching on the horizon.

Pakistan will travel to face Pat Cummins' side in a three-match Test series beginning on December 14, the latest a summer Test campaign has started in Australia in 100 years.

The traditional Boxing Day Test at Melbourne Cricket Ground will be the starting point of the second Test of the series.

The final Pakistan Test will start on January 3 while West Indies will start their multi-format tour of the country, beginning with a two-Test series starting on January 17 in Adelaide. The second will be a day/night Test at The Gabba.

All of the men's home Test fixtures will take place during the school holidays for the first time in a bid to encourage higher attendance.

The Windies close out the Australian summer home schedule with three ODI matches and three T20s, finishing on February 13.

Cricket Australia will release their domestic summer schedule at a later date.
