Broadcaster and former England cricketer David Lloyd has admitted he 'will be nervous' as he returns to the commentary box for England’s third Test against India which starts from Thursday, February 15.
Lloyd, previously part of Sky Sports commentary team will be behind the mic for TalkSport’s radio coverage of the Test which takes place in Rajkot.
Writing on X (formerly Twitter), 'Bumble' confirmed he would be part of the third Test coverage, he said: "I'm part of talkSPORT commentary team for 3rd Test, India v England. So excited .. I expect I will be nervous , counting the minutes to the start , that feeling of ..’get it right’.. and best of all … think that you are sat next to every single listener."

Since leaving Sky in December 2021, Lloyd has worked for TalkSport previously and made several appearances on Lancs TV's county coverage during 2022 and 2023.
Lloyd, a former England coach who played for Lancashire between 1965 and 1983, was a popular figure behind the mic at Sky before stepping down after 22 years.
