Forget how we got there, the series heads to Ahmedabad perfectly poised

India have included four uncapped players in the 19-strong squad selected for the five-match T20 series against England next month.

Ishan Kishan, fresh from scoring 516 runs for eventual-champions Mumbai Indians in the Indian Premier League, is the headline call-up.

The 22-year-old continued his impressive form of white-ball form with an extraordinary 173 from 94 balls for Jharkhand in the Vijay Hazare Trophy against Madhya Pradesh.

He is joined by untested duo Suryakumar Yadav and Rahul Tewatia, who are also included for the first time.

All five T20s will take place at the 110,000 Sardar Patel Stadium in Ahmedabad on March 12, 14, 16, 18 and 20.
