Ravi Shastri is to continue as India's head coach after coming out on top of a selection process.
Shastri, who was first appointed to the role in 2017, saw off competition from Robin Singh, Lalchand Rajput, Mike Hesson and Tom Moody, who were all interviewed for the position.
In the final vote, which was managed by the Cricket Advisory Committee (CAC) led by iconic allrounder Kapil Dev, Shastri finished ahead of former New Zealand coach Mike Hesson and Australian Tom Moody.

Shastri's new tenure will see him lead Virat Kohli's side through to the 2021 World T20. There had been speculation around his future following India's World Cup exit, but this has now been quashed.
According to the Hindustan Times, Dev said: “We gave marks out of 100. There was a difference of very small numbers, which amazed us as well. Hesson and Moody were very good too.
“We have given a letter to the BCCI that we, CAC, should have a say in the selection of the support staff as well as the selectors."
