Dubai Capitals have installed Yusuf Pathan as their new captain for the remainder of the International League T20.
The 40-year-old former India international takes over from Rovman Powell. No reason has been disclosed for the switch.
Yusuf's tenure will begin against MI Emirates in what is the Capitals' final regular-season match, with victory needed to keep them in the hunt for the semi-finals.
West Indies batter Powell has led Capitals to three wins in eight completed games, with one no result, leaving them fifth in the table. With the bat, he is the team's highest run-scorer with 320 at 53.33.
