The 30-year-old takes his professional career at The Ageas Bowl into an 11th year
Hampshire have agreed to a one-year contract extension with Chris Wood.
The white-ball only deal takes the 30-year-old's pro career at The Ageas into an 11th year.
Wood will remain at Hampshire, where he made his first-class debut in 2010, until 2021.
In March, the left-armer decided to retire from long-form cricket to focus on the limited-overs formats.
"I’m delighted to sign a new extension at Hampshire, continuing my stay at my boyhood club," he said.
"I’m excited about what we can achieve as a group next year, and hopefully I can continue to improve my game and contribute to future successes here as part of that."
Director of cricket Giles White said: "Chris has been a standout performer for us for a long time now and we’re thrilled he’s signed a new extension.
"We obviously know Chris very well having been a key member of our white-ball sides over the last 10 years; skilful, streetwise and a great team man - he remains a huge asset for us as we look ahead to 2021."
