The allrounder played three times in the Second XI Championship last season and took two three-wicket hauls
Dominic Goodman has been rewarded for his swift progress at Gloucestershire with a professional contract for the next two years.
The 19-year-old played three times in last season's Second XI Championship and claimed three-wicket hauls against Glamorgan and Sussex, where he came up against Jofra Archer.
He also played five T20s for the second string in 2019 and will now be aiming to make an impression on the senior team at Bristol.
"It’s an unbelievable feeling," he said. "Gloucestershire as a club has so much history associated with it, not only that, it’s such a great environment to be a part of.
"The players and coaches right through the set up are so welcoming and to get a chance to continue to work with them is amazing.
"From the time I started playing it’s always been my goal to be a professional cricketer, and I can’t wait to continue working hard for the club.”
Head coach Richard Dawson added: "We have been very impressed with the progression Dom has shown in the club’s Academy since joining in 2017.
"He continues to show signs of development and we look forward to seeing what the future holds for Dom."
