What is it?

Ultimate Kricket Challenge 2020 is a competition that will feature some of the world's best cricketers in a brand new format.

Yuvraj Singh and Kevin Pietersen will be joined by Chris Gayle, Rashid Khan, Eoin Morgan and Andre Russell for the 16-match tournament.

Each player will face each other in a cage and will take turns to bat and bowl over four innings lasting 15 balls each.

There are different scoring zones: Zone A (1 run), Zone B (1 run), Zone C (2 runs), Zone D (3 runs), Zone E (with a bounce - 4 runs), Zone E (direct - 6 runs). 12 runs are awarded if batsmen hit the bullseye behind the bowler and four if they hit the bullseye square of the wicket. Five runs are deducted from the total when a wicket is lost.

Two points will be awarded to the player who wins the match. The top four players will advance to the semi-finals.

When is it?

The competition will run from December 24 to January 1.

Monday, December 28 - Eoin Morgan v Rashid Khan, Chris Gayle v Eoin Morgan

Tuesday, December 29 - Eoin Morgan v Andre Russell, Chris Gayle v Rashid Khan

Wednesday, December 30 - Andre Russell v Kevin Pietersen, Chris Gayle v Yuvraj Singh

Thursday December 31 - Semi-final 1, Semi-final 2

Friday, January 1 - Final

What channel is it on?

Ultimate Kricket Challenge will be shown live in India on Star Sports. Commentary will be available in five languages: English, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu and Kannada 

Where is it being streamed?

In India it is being streamed on Disney+ Hotstar.

Matches begin at 21:30 IST (4pm UK)
