Phil Salt has signed up to play for Lahore Qalandars
Sussex Sharks batsman Phil Salt has signed a short-term deal with Lahore Qalandars.
The powerful top-order batsman will turn out for the Pakistan Super League outfit during their participation in the Abu Dhabi T20 next month.
Qalandars are one of six sides from T20 leagues around the world to sign up for the inaugural running of the competition, with the likes of Yorkshire Vikings and Hobart Hurricanes also taking part.

Salt has secured a berth after an impressive season with Sussex, for whom he scored 355 runs at a massive strike rate of 172.33 in the 2018 T20 Blast.
He told the Argus: "I’ve kept it under wraps for about a month.
"I didn’t really want to distract from playing for Sussex because this is my main focus.
"It’s really exciting and hopefully I can go and take the opportunity out there and push on."
