Rachael Haynes joins Gujarat Giants as head coach for WPL

Nooshin Al Khadeer joins the franchise as bowling coach, Tushar Arothe as batting coach, and Gavan Twining as fielding coach

Rachael Haynes has been appointed as the head coach of Gujarat Giants in the Women's Premier League.

Nooshin Al Khadeer joins the franchise as bowling coach, Tushar Arothe as batting coach, and Gavan Twining as fielding coach.

Haynes retired from international cricket in September, after an illustrious career which brought her more than 160 caps for Australia. She stood down from all cricket in November.

The Giants have previously confirmed Mithali Raj as a team mentor ahead of the first season of the WPL in March.

The competition is expected to spread across three weeks, with five teams taking part.

Its inaugural auction is set to take place on February 13.
