The Pakistan international will undergoing testing at an ICC-accredited biomechanics laboratory in Lahore
Mohammad Hasnain’s is to undergo testing at an ICC-accredited biomechanics laboratory in Lahore after his bowling action was reported by umpires in the Big Bash.
The Pakistani quick had a successful tournament with Sydney Thunder, taking seven wicket at an average of 15.71 in his five matches.
His debut was a particular highlight, with the 21-year-old posting match figures of 3 for 20 and dismissing Jake Weatherald, Matthew Short and Jonathan Wells as part of a triple-wicket maiden.
However, in his final match, Sydney Sixers’ captain Moises Henriques was picked up on stump mic saying, "nice throw mate". The match umpires subsequently reported him.

Hasnain is now in a race against time to get his action cleared with the Pakistan Super League quickly approaching. He is an integral part of the Quetta Gladiators squad, with his side’s first match, against Peshawar Zalmi, scheduled for January 28.
The ICC has set a limit of a maximum of 15 degrees of permissible straightening of the elbow joint for bowlers.
If found guilty, Hasnain would be immediately suspended from bowling in international cricket and domestic events around the world until his action was remedied.
However, under clause 11.5 of the ICC’s regulations, he would still be able to bowl in the Pakistan Super League if approved by the Pakistan Cricket Board.
He can also continue to bowl until the testing process, which can take up to 14 days, is completed.
