Local reports suggest the BPL will be staged between January 20 and February 20, with six franchises making up the eighth iteration of the tournament
Moeen Ali is among the high-profile names being linked with a stint in the Bangladesh Premier League.
Local reports suggest the BPL will be staged between January 20 and February 20, with six franchises making up the eighth iteration of the tournament.
Moeen is set to join up with Comilla Victorians, the two-time champions who did not take part in the last running of the competition, according to the team's owner Nafisa Kamal.
"Comilla Victorians have never compromised relationships with foreign players," she was quoted as saying by bdcrictime.
"Sunil Narine, Faf du Plessis, and Moeen Ali are confirmed for the whole of the season."

Moeen last played in the BPL in 2013 and has since enjoyed time in both the Indian Premier League and Pakistan Super League.
The BPL is set to clash with the PSL in 2022, but organisers have insisted this is not a concern.
BPL governing council member Sheikh Sohel told Cricbuzz: "We are not worried about the PSL and we are expecting to host the players draft of this month but the only thing that we are worried about is the corona situation."
Three overseas players are set to be allowed in each matchday XI, down from four in the tournament's previous season.
