The Australian allrounder, currently playing for Melbourne Stars, is the latest overseas player to sign for Sharjah Warriors
Marcus Stoinis will join up with Sharjah Warriors following the conclusion of the Big Bash.
The Australian allrounder is the latest overseas player to sign for the inaugural ILT20 league, which begins on January 13.
Stoinis will fulfil his commitments with Melbourne Stars first, before flying out to the United Arab Emirates. Stars end their group-stage campaign on January 25 and, currently sitting bottom of the table, look unlikely to be involved in the playoffs.
"It's a massive opportunity for me personally to notch up some crucial playing time at a tournament like this in the UAE ahead of a busy year that's going to be full of cricket," he said.
"I just can't wait to team up with some of the world's best allrounders in the Sharjah Warriors squad."

Stoinis joins a line-up at Warriors that also includes Moeen Ali, Dawid Malan, Chris Woakes and Evin Lewis.
Despite those big names, however, statistics from the competition won't be included on players' formal T20 records.
ICC regulations state that T20 competitions hosted by non-Full Members cannot be attributed List A T20 status, and the global governing body recently confirmed to statisticians that no special exemption will be made for the big-money tournament in the UAE.
