The South Australia opener finished with 125 runs from 38 balls, including 10 fours and 13 sixes, against Tasmania, breaking AB de Villiers' record (31 balls) in the process
South Australia's Jake Fraser-McGurk has broken the record for the fastest List A century after reaching three figures off just 29 balls.
The 21-year-old opener achieved the feat in his side's Marsh Cup clash against Tasmania in Adelaide, where he finished with 125 runs from 38 balls, including 10 fours and 13 sixes.
It surpasses AB de Villiers' 31-ball century, which came in an ODI between South Africa and West Indies in Johannesburg in 2015, and comes less than 24 hours after Aiden Markram (South Africa) broke the record for the fastest World Cup century, taking 49 balls to raise his bat against Sri Lanka.

South Australia were attempting to complete a record run chase of 436 but were bowled out for 398, losing by 37 runs.
Fraser-McGurk, who had never previously scored a century, said: "I went out there with some good intent, had my plans and process, and seemed like everything went my way.
"I've made a few 30s playing in twos (2nd XI) and stuff, felt like I've been hitting them reasonably well but probably not that well so definitely surprised myself."

Fraser-McGurk kicked off his onslaught in the third over, smashing Sam Rainbird for 32 runs, and cruised to fifty off just 18 balls, beating Glenn Maxwell's record for the fastest half-century in Australian domestic one-day cricket in the process.
He reached three figures in the ninth over of the innings and later dispatched Paddy Dooley for five boundaries in six balls before eventually being halted in the 12th over.
Fraser-McGurk said he has never played like that before: "Maybe in a video game or something. Definitely not in real life, that's for sure."
