Khwaja also acts as associate member director on the ICC board, a post into which he was re-elected at the ICC annual conference in July 2022
Imran Khwaja has been reappointed as deputy chair of the International Cricket Council (ICC).
The announcement was made following an uncontested election process that began at an ICC board meeting last week in Melbourne.
Khwaja has held this role since 2017, when he had to fight off a nomination from Cricket West Indies' Ricky Skerritt, but there was no opposition this time.

He was first elected onto the ICC board in 2008 and served as interim chair for 145 days in 2020 between the resignation of Shashank Manohar and the election of Greg Barclay.
Khwaja's reappointment follows the re-election of Barclay as ICC chair last week.
Barclay faced no opposition for re-election due to Tavengwa Mukuhlani, Zimbabwe Cricket chair, pulling out.
