Gibson's commitments to Yorkshire, where he is head coach, mean he is unable to link up with the Sultans ahead of the new Pakistan Super League season
Ajmal Shahzad has replaced Ottis Gibson as fast bowling coach at Multan Sultans.
Gibson's commitments to Yorkshire, where he is head coach, mean he is unable to link up with the Sultans ahead of the new Pakistan Super League season.
His role will be filled by Shahzad, the former England international, who has previously served as an assistant coach at the franchise and is the current bowling coach at Derbyshire.

Shahzad will work underneath head coach Andy Flower, as Multan seek to go one better in PSL8.
The Sultans finished top of the league stage of PSL7 but lost the final to Lahore Qalandars.
The PSL season is due to run for five weeks between mid-February and mid-March, though the schedule has yet to be confirmed.
