The 39-year-old will stay in South Wales for a ninth year after penning fresh terms with the Sophia Gardens club
Glamorgan have secured the services of Michael Hogan for a ninth year after the Australian signed a new one-year contract.
The 39-year-old, who arrived in 2013, will take his spell in South Wales into a ninth year.
Hogan's outings this term have been exclusively reserved for the Bob Willis Trophy, taking eight wickets in four appearances.
He was awarded a testimonial year for 2020 and has agreed terms for his spell to be extended.
"I’m very happy to sign a new deal at the club," he right-arm seamer said.
"Age is just a number and it’s been well documented I started late so I feel like I’ve still got a few more years in me to perform for Glamorgan.
"I have a lot I still want to achieve in the game and one of those goals it to win a trophy. Everyone at the club is driven to do that and we have some very talented cricketers here.
"My ambition now is more to bring on the younger bowlers through and I feel we’re pretty close to that."
Director of cricket Mark Wallace added: "He’s been arguably one of our greatest ever bowlers. If there was a conversation about an all-time XI, he’d certainly be in it.
"He’s been a fantastic servant to the club and him signing on for another year is great news."
News that Hogan has signed up for another year comes after quartet Lukas Carey, Callum Taylor, Joe Cooke, and Jamie McIlroy were retained by the Sophia Gardens club ahead of next term.
