A recurrence of an old arm injury means the 27-year-old faces being sidelined for the remainder of the 2019 campaign
Craig Meschede could miss the rest of the 2019 season with a biceps injury, his club Glamorgan have confirmed.
The 27-year-old has been restricted to just five One-Day Cup outings this term.
Meschede also represented Germany in their successful World T20 Europe Region Finals campaign in June but domestic outings have been curtailed due to fitness concerns.
Tests have revealed the recurrence of an old arm injury, with a further consultation planned for the end of September.
As a result, the South Africa-born allrounder has been restricted to a series of second XI outings for the south Wales county.
Glamorgan end their season with their final County Championship match against Durham starting on September 23.
