Ben Stokes and Alex Hales have both been charged with bringing the game into disrepute by the Cricket Discipline Commission.
The England pair have each been hit with two counts of breach ECB directive 3.3, which states that "no Participant may conduct themself in a manner or do any act or omission at any time which may be prejudicial to the interests of cricket or which may bring the ECB, the game of cricket or any cricketer or group of cricketers into disrepute" after becoming involved in a late-night brawl in Bristol last September.
They will both face disciplinary hearings, which will be conducted in private in London on December 5 and December 7.
The three-man panel will be chaired by former Derbyshire cricketer Tim O'Gorman.
Stokes was found not guilty of affray by a jury at Bristol Crown Court last month following a week-long trial.
Hales was not arrested for his part in the incident, but his actions were brought up by Stokes's defence.
