Sophia Dunkley is the headline omission from England's T20 and one-day international squads to face Pakistan later this month.

The 25-year-old top-order batter has single figure scores from her last four international innings but has shown signs of a return to form in the Rachael Heyhoe Flint Trophy for South East Stars.

Fellow-contracted stars Issy Wong, Mahika Gaur, Tash Farrant and Emma Lamb are also missing having all been omitted from the New Zealand tour for a variety of reasons.

Linsey Smith will get another chance to impressed after playing her first internationals in five years this winter while Alice Capsey, Sophie Ecclestone, Nat Sciver-Brunt and Danni Wyatt will play a full part having arrived late in New Zealand due to the Women's Premier League.

Sarah Glenn returns having not featured in the ODIs due to a concussion suffered during the T20I series.

Freya Kemp will again only be available as a batter during the T20Is. She, Smith and Dani Gibson are named in the 20-over group only while Tammy Beaumont, after scores of 15, 19 and 37 on her return to the T20I side, is only picked for the ODIs.

"We are really excited to start our home summer," said head coach Jon Lewis.

"These two series' against Pakistan give us an opportunity to build, develop and ensure we are in the best place come the World Cup in Bangladesh in September.

"We are very keen whenever possible to make sure all the players vying for places in the World Cup squad get opportunities to play cricket this summer so that they are able to put in performances that help secure a place in the squad for Bangladesh."

England T20I and ODI squad: Heather Knight (c), Tammy Beaumont (ODI only), Lauren Bell, Maia Bouchier, Alice Capsey, Kate Cross, Charlie Dean, Sophia Dunkley, Sophie Ecclestone, Lauren Filer, Dani Gibson (T20I only) Sarah Glenn, Bess Heath (T20I only) Amy Jones, Freya Kemp (T20I only), Nat Sciver-Brunt, Linsey Smith (T20I only) Danni Wyatt
