The BCCI has confirmed the schedule for England's Test tour of India in 2024.

The five-match series, which forms part of the World Test Championship, will run between January 25 and March 11.

Hyderabad (January 25-29) and Vizag (February 2-6) will host the opening two Tests before the two sides enjoy an eight-day break.

The series will then move to Rajkot (February 15-19) and Ranchi (February 23-27) before concluding in Dharamsala (March 7-11).

England have only won a Test series in India once since 1984, completing a 2-1 victory in late 2012.

In 2021, India won the four-match series 3-1.

Prior to the England Test series, India will host Australia for three ODIs (September 2023) and five T20Is (November-December) either side of the Cricket World Cup before entertaining Afghanistan for three T20Is in January 2024.
