Wood is one of five left-armers in Matthew Mott's first squad following his appointment as England's white-ball head coach
Luke Wood has been named in an England squad for the first time, with the Lancashire seamer picked in a 14-man group to face the Netherlands in June.
He is one of five left-armers in Matthew Mott's first squad following his appointment as England's white-ball head coach.
Gloucestershire's David Payne is the other uncapped member of the squad, which will be captained by Eoin Morgan, though he was previously involved last summer when England faced Pakistan.
"I'm very excited to be coaching a strong squad for my first series in charge," said Mott. "We have tremendous depth with a blend of youth and experience. We want to continue to play in an expressive style and let our players showcase their skills and firepower.
"Luke Wood deserves his call-up. He has been consistent for Lancashire over the past 12 months, and we have been monitoring his progression. If given a chance to play, I'm sure he will make most of his opportunity."

England are without their multi-format players for the tour, with the three-match series, which begins on Amstelveen on June 17, taking place either side of the second and third Tests against New Zealand.
Jonny Bairstow, Ben Stokes and Joe Root are all 50-over regulars but are unavailable for selection.
It means that Phil Salt will be handed an opportunity at the top of the order, while Dawid Malan and Liam Livingstone are also included.
Sam Curran returns to the international fold for the first time since he was ruled out of England's winter by a back injury. Brydon Carse, who also missed the winter though with a knee problem, is remarkably the solitary right-arm seamer in the squad for the series, which forms part of the World Cup Super League.
