The England and Mumbai Indians seamer travelled to Belgium to seek treatment for his elbow injury, but is expected to return this action for Mumbai Indians against Rajasthan Royals
Jofra Archer left the Indian Premier League earlier this month to undergo a minor procedure while seeing an elbow specialist in Belgium.
As reported by The Daily Telegraph, Archer underwent the treatment in his right elbow, the same joint in which he first had a stress fracture two years ago.
Limited to just two tournament outings this term, Archer is expected to play in Mumbai Indians' next fixture against Rajasthan Royals this weekend.
Archer played in MI's first game of the IPL, but missed their next four due to what coach Mark Boucher described as "a little niggle". He then returned for the defeat to Punjab Kings on April 22.

"The body's not going to be 100 per cent straight away," the South Africa coach told ESPNCricinfo last week.
"There are going to be moments where it feels a lot more serious than it actually is. I just want to focus on feeling good at the minute.
Archer's return to action has been staggered in recent months, with outings in bilateral series in South Africa and Bangladesh, either side of a single appearance in the SA20.
All eyes are on his fitness ahead of a busy year of international cricket headlined by the Ashes, which begin from June 16, and the 50-over World Cup defence in October and November.
