NICK HOWSON AT OLD TRAFFORD: The Surrey man scored just 22 after being moved into the middle order for the fourth Test
Rory Burns insisted Jason Roy can come through a difficult run of form after another setback at the start of his England Test career.
A poor start to his international red-ball career as an opener had seen him moved into the middle-order for the fourth Ashes Test against Australia at Old Trafford.
But the 29-year-old's woes continued as he scored 22 from 33 balls before being bowled by Josh Hazlewood while trying to drive a length delivery.

Roy's departure was one of three late wickets to fall as England closed on day three on 200 for 5, still 297 runs behind Australia.
Burns knows Roy, who is averaging 11.28 in the series as well as anyone having come through the system at Surrey together and believes he can learn from his latest setback.
"He's the same old Jason which is what you like to see," Burns, who scored a dogged 81, told the media. "He hasn't changed too much in terms of what he is like off the park.
"Obviously he would have a liked a score today, he got a good start but that is one to build on."
