Chris Silverwood's side will play two Tests in March in Galle and Colombo as part of the World Test Championship
England's whistle-stop Test tour of Sri Lanka in March 2020 has been confirmed.
Following two three-day warm-up matches, Chris Silverwood's side will face the hosts in the first Test in Galle starting on March 19.
The final clash of the series, starting on March 27, will take place at R Premadasa International Cricket Stadium in Colombo.
It comes 17 months after England's last visit to the sub-continent when they claimed a 3-0 series win.
Both matches will make up part of the ongoing World Test Championship.
No limited-overs matches are included as part of the tour, which follows England's trip to South Africa over Christmas and New Year.
