Liam Livingstone recalled to England T20 squad to face India

Jos Buttler will also return to the bio-bubble in India for the five-match T20 series after being rested for the second, third and fourth Tests

Lancashire’s Liam Livingstone could make his first international T20 appearance since June 2017 after being recalled to the England squad for the five-match series against India.

Livingstone, fresh from a successful Big Bash stint with Perth Scorchers, is the only new addition to the squad which defeated South Africa 3-0 in last year.

Jos Buttler will return to the bio-bubble after being rested for the second, third and fourth Tests while six other members of the Test squad are also included.

The two reserves for the series are Nottinghamshire’s Jake Ball and Lancashire spinner Matt Parkinson.

The touring party will depart on February 26 with their first T20 scheduled for Ahmedabad on Friday, March 12.

England’s squad for the three-match ODI series will be announced at a later date.
